Singles and Albums
You can use your bizmo store to sell both albums and singles. Just upload the tracks and thebizmo will take care of creating previews and mobile phone formats etc.
You can set your own price per track within our available price slots. Bear in mind that prices will vary with currency. You can also choose if you want the tracks to be available for resale by others (See resale explained here) and finally if you want to stream the entire track to your fans or just a thirty-second sample.
Set up an album and choose the price in your dashboard. An album can have as many tracks as you want it to and there are several price slots available for albums in the system. So you can create an EP or a double album its up to you.
Will the tracks sold here play on my ipod and iphone?
Yes, tracks from thebizmo are 192Kbps stereo MP3 files with NO DRM whatsoever. They will play on all mp3 players and the cover art will follow the track into iTunes. Trust your fans and they will trust you.
You can earn twice as much as Pink Floyd
On a good day Pink Floyd and Paul McCartney earn roughly 25% of the retail price less VAT and publishing from each sale. Here they would earn 70% of the retail price less VAT and publishing. Also all recording artists on majors and indies have to wait at the very least six months to get paid for the previous six months. Do I have to release stuff for sale just because I have uploaded it?
No, you do not. Choose what you want in your store at any given time and it will be instantly updated. The dashboard will show you the way
Can I change the price and other track info after uploading and saving?
Yes, you can. Just login and click on the track you wish to edit. All the fields associated with the track will be editable.
